ASW 15b is a semi-scale model, with good-natured and powerful flight characteristics. This makes the model suitable for those who want to switch from 2-axis to 3-axis models, as well as for experienced model pilots who want to enjoy flying. By upgrading to flaps (optional: # 34020009) the range of use can be extended. Extended thermal flights, rapid descents in butterfly configuration and subsequent accurate spot landings are thus even easier. The powerful drive motor helps the model to reach altitude quickly even without updrafts. The robust model, made of EPO foam, is largely prefabricated and requires little time for final assembly. The tailplane and the wing have quick-release latches, which allow the assembly and disassembly of the model quickly.
