The YAK 3U is designed for the advanced model pilot. It is a semi-scale airplane that is easy to fly and quick to assemble.
The largely prefabricated model is conventionally constructed of balsa and plywood. This provides great stability and solid flight performance in flight.
The motor mount is already assembled and the hinges are pre-installed. Another motor mount is included in the kit, for electric motors.
The model is designed for the new electric "ER-120 84°" retractable landing gear and is available with this gear or without.
Like the original, this YAK-3U is controlled by all axles and also has landing flaps.
The size makes the model an "always there" flying model, which can also be transported in smaller vehicles, also thanks to the divisible, removable wing.
