DESCRIPTION
The SE5A was probably the most famous allied fighter of the First World War. Because of its high performance, it became the aircraft of choice for many of the "aces" such as Mick Mannock. The SFM SE5A takes the famous contours of the original aircraft well and adapts them to make a powerful, trouble-free model. Like all World War I fighters, she needs a little finesse to make the best of her, but that's part of the charm! The control reacts precisely when required, but otherwise it is very forgiving. Not a model for the beginner, but fun for the more experienced pilot.
The balsa / layer structure is designed in such a way that it can be logically and strongly assembled and quickly built. The easy-to-understand instructions guide you through the complete assembly. A complete drawing is provided.
The model is designed for electric drive as standard, but can easily be converted to a combustion version. The design took this requirement into account.
The SE5A together with the SFM Fokker DVII makes a great dogfight double.
