The C-119 was designed to carry cargo, personnel, litter patients and mechanized equipment and to drop cargo and troops by parachute. First flight in November 1947 and last production in 1955. More than 1100 C-119s had been built. Used extensively in Korean War and as the AC-119 "gunship" in South Vietnam.

The C-119 was designed to fill a void in the scale twin engine arena. Just think.....twin engine performance without twin engine complexity! Due to the proven reliability of electric flight, "engine out" is no longer a factor with this schoolyard scale transport. This simple, stable design is easy to hand launch and easy to fly. It uses the proven reliability of speed 400 power - a great first twin!
