The Aviat A-1C Christen Husky 80" wingspan model in 15-20cc size is designed for the advanced sport pilot. It is a semi-scale model, is easy and quick to assemble. The airframe is conventionally built of balsa and plywood, for adequate strength. The level of prefabrication is high, so there is little more work to be done.
The construction allows the airplane to be kept light. You will find that most of the work is already done. By using the landing, and takeoff flaps, exceptional short takeoffs and landings are possible. Thus the model resembles a larger trainer model. The wings can be removed for transport. LED lights are included as position lights or landing lights. The sturdy prototypical landing gear is supplied with large balloon wheels. For propulsion, an approx. 20cc gasoline engine (e.g. DLE20 RE) but also comparable electric drives for 6-8S Lipos can be used.

The product line includes many beautiful and unusual aircraft types that bring variety to every airfield. Almost all models can be used with both combustion and electric drives. The required accessories are included in the scope of delivery for these models. All models are supplied with comprehensive, illustrated and easy-to-understand English assembly instructions. The high degree of prefabrication enables a short remaining assembly time. All models are subjected to extensive flight tests before series production and therefore have very good flight performance.
