Applications:Used in fiber-reinforced fillers, press compounds, plastic plasters, putties, adhesives, corrosion-resistant coatings, and as an asbestos substitute.
For bonding layers in mold making, a 50:50 volume mixture of glass fiber chopped strands and cotton flock is recommended. The volume specification helps visualize the delivered quantity, which refers to the loose bulk volume. During transport and storage, the contents may become compressed.
