A timber transporter converted to a building material transporter in no time at all.
The basis of this platform body is a steel frame with integrated subframe for mounting on the TAMIYA Volvo FH16 chassis. The original fastening points/bolts were used for the assembly. No holes have to be drilled manually. The detailed dropsides have surface engravings on both sides and are mounted on sturdy hinges. The dropsides are "locked" by means of strong neodymium magnets, two of which are embedded almost invisibly in the dropside. The wooden application included in the conversion kit underlines the detailing of the platform construction and can be aged and adapted to your own wishes.
Recommendation:
To mount the tail lights included in the kit or the optionally available tail light boards (art. no.: 500907508, Universal; not MFC compatible) the separately available aluminium underride guard (with tail light holder; art. no.: 500907515) is required.
