Based on the proven ARRMA 4X4 platform, the 4X2 BOOST 550 MEGA Brushed 2WD models easily upgrade to 4WD and 3S brushless power when you feel ready. In addition, they offer excellent value for money.
But even without these upgrades, the VORTEKS™ 4X2 BOOST 550 MEGA Brushed 2WD Stadium Truck can reach speeds of 48+km/h under optimal conditions with the optional gearbox. For rugged off-road capability, it features a strong plastic chassis and recessed hinge pin plates, higher clearance steering, a splined slipper pad and sliding-mesh gearbox, and sealed ball bearings throughout. The VORTEKS™ 4X2 BOOST was designed with these features to outperform other entry-level bashers.
It features the proven and ingenious modular chassis design, perfected by ARRMA engineers for easier component access. Individual, easily removable modules for the drive, electronics and differentials make routine maintenance work on the model quick and easy.
The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks with silicone O-rings use a proven coilover for effortless maintenance and amazing handling. Its innovative swivel head has a cast-in spring plate for additional robustness. Tall chassis side panels limit the amount of dirt and debris that can get into the chassis pan, and side impact protection protects the body and chassis. Shock absorbing loops hold the front and rear bumpers to the chassis and provide additional protection from severe impacts.
