Description "ZVEZDA 1:35 WWII RUS. TANK KV-2 GIGANT"
- Length of the model: 200 mm
- Number of parts: 393
The 76 mm L-11 tank gun, which was mounted on the KV, proved not to be powerful enough to take action against bunkers or other fortifications. A new KV-2 tank, equipped in the turret with the M-10 152 mm howitzer, was designed for the destruction of military defences. Production of the KV-2 began in 1940, but shortly after the beginning of the Second World War in Russia production was discontinued, as this single-purpose tank was an exorbitant luxury under the difficult conditions of the initial phase of the war.
The KV-2 with its 152 mm gun was one of the most powerful Soviet tanks of the early phase of the Second World War.
