Due to the great demand here the essential differences between Huina 1580 and our EC160:
- The arm is made of solid material compared to the Huina, which gives additional stability and weight
- The traction drive can be controlled completely proportionally via 2 rotary controls on the transmitter, which results in a much more realistic driving picture
- The scale is adjusted to 1:14. The model of Huina simulates a 36 ton excavator and is much too small for that in scale. Our Volvo EC160
is a 16-tonne excavator, which was perfectly scaled in 1:14. The Volvo is slightly larger than the Huina, but if you consider that the Huina is in reality still
would have to be much larger, this difference explains why a 1:14 figure does not fit into the Huina cabin. Furthermore the door is fully functional in the Volvo.
