The hybrid autofocus of the Mavic 2 Zoom combines the two autofocus methods phase comparison and edge contrast measurement to focus up to 40% faster. Autofocus tracking keeps subjects sharp even when zooming in or out.

Super Resolution Photos with 48 Megapixels
The Mavic 2 Zoom has a new feature for creating super-resolution photos. When shooting with a 24mm-equivalent field of view4, the camera takes 9 individual photos and processes them into a super-resolution 48-megapixel photo. This feature makes it easy to capture every detail of a landscape shot.

Hyperlapse (space lapse)
No more complicated post-processing. With Hyperlapse, the aircraft takes stabilized aerial photographs and processes them automatically. The new feature allows you to create professional time-lapse images with just a tap in the app. The result is immediately ready to be shared in the social media. Save the flight route in the task history so that you can repeat any flight route at any time. Photos can be stored simultaneously as JPEG and RAW files on the micro SD card or internal memory to preserve all additional post-processing options.

HyperLight
Make the world brighter with HyperLight - the setting for low-light shooting. HyperLight improves shooting while reducing unwanted noise.

The H.265 codec offers better image quality
Both Mavic 2 versions record 4K at higher data rates and use H.265 for video compression. H.265/HEVC compressed videos get up to 50% more picture information compared to H.264/AVC compression. This makes H.265/HEVC compressed videos of higher quality and gets more detail in videos compressed with H.264.

Endurance
Up to 31 minutes flight time. With the longer flight time there is more time for recording. New sinusoidal speed controllers (ESC) and low-noise propellers make the flight incredibly quiet and take more consideration of other people in the vicinity.

omni-directional obstacle detection
The improved FlightAutonomy system now includes an omni-directional obstacle detection system, making the Mavic 2 the first DJI drone to feature obstacle detection sensors on all sides of the aircraft for an even safer flight. Depending on other environmental factors, FlightAutonomy offers only a limited level of protection and does not replace the user's judgement. For a safe flight it is always necessary to familiarize yourself with the flight environment.

Forward:
Dual vision sensors. Precise measurement at a distance of up to 20 metres. The detection range is 20-40 meters. The sensors detect obstacles and brake the drone in time at speeds of up to 50.4 km/h.
