Developed in a two-year collaboration between DJI and Hasselblad, DJI was able to equip the Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad L1D-20c, which surprises even the most ambitious users with its image quality. The Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) technology also helps capture great aerial shots with stunning detail and colour, at a resolution of 20 megapixels.

Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad camera
Hasselblad cameras are a symbol of ergonomic design, uncompromising image quality and Swedish craftsmanship. Since 1941, Hasselblad cameras have captured some of the most moving moments in a picture, such as the first moon landing. Developed in a two-year collaboration between DJI and Hasselblad, we were able to equip the Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad L1D-20c. In addition, Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS)6 technology helps capture great aerial shots with stunning detail and colour, at a resolution of 20 megapixels.

1-inch CMOS sensor
With the new 1-inch CMOS sensor, the Mavic 2 Pro offers four times the active sensor area of its predecessor, the Mavic Pro. The larger sensor is particularly advantageous in environments with poor lighting conditions, and also enables a higher maximum ISO value of 12800.

10-bit Dlog-M color profile
The Mavic 2 Pro comes with support for the 10-bit Dlog-M color profile, which offers a higher dynamic range and allows more latitude in post processing. The camera system records over a billion colors, which is many times more than the 8-bit systems commonly used on cameras. These typically record 16 million colors. The 10-bit storage preserves more detail overall, especially in highlights and depths. This additional data offers much more possibilities in post-processing and allows the effective adjustment of every nuance of a sunset.

HDR video
Supporting 4K 10-bit HDR, the Mavic 2 Pro connects directly to a 4K TV with Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and displays accurate color tones - with more brightness and improved contrast - for a true HDR experience.

Adjustable aperture
The adjustable aperture from F2.8 to F11 delivers outstanding image quality in both bright and low-light environments. In low-light environments, the low f-stop F2.8 allows more light to enter the sensor for crystal clear and bright photos. In bright lighting conditions, the high aperture F11 allows slower shutter speeds for smoother video shooting.

Hyperlapse (space lapse)
No more complicated post-processing. With Hyperlapse, the aircraft takes stabilized aerial photographs and processes them automatically. The new function enables the creation of professional time-lapse images with just one fingertip in the app. The result is immediately ready to be shared in the social media. Save the flight route in the task history to be able to repeat each flight route at any time. Photos can be stored simultaneously as JPEG and RAW files on the micro SD card or internal memory to preserve all additional post-processing options.

HyperLight
Make the world brighter with HyperLight - the low ambient light setting. HyperLight improves shooting while reducing unwanted noise.

H.265 codec offers better image quality
Both Mavic 2 versions record 4K at higher data rates and use H.265 for video compression8. Videos compressed with H.265/HEVC get up to 50% more picture information than those compressed with H.264/AVC. This makes videos compressed with H.265/HEVC higher quality and gets more detail in videos compressed with H.264.
