"Auch wenn noch nie etwas passiert ist, sollte man dennoch Vorsorge treffen!" Ein Lipokoffer eignet sich hervorragend zum lagern von NIMH und Lipo Akkus.
Der Robbe RO-Safety ist so konstruiert das die Akkus darin geladen und natürlich gelagert werden können. Die Ladekabel werden durch eine flammsichere Öffnung nach außen geführt. Im Falle eines Brandes der Akkus, kann der entstehende Druck im Inneren nach außen austreten. Dies geschieht durch die oberen Lüftungsbohrungen, gleichzeitig wird der Rauch abgekühlt. Im Inneren der Box können bis zu 800° bei einem Brand entstehen.
Durch die spezielle Isolierung der Box werden Boden und Seitenwand maximal bis zu 80° heiß. Das austretende Gas wird nicht heißer als 150°.
Zum Transport eignen sich Lipotaschen, die mittlerweile sogar großteils zur Pflicht auf Vereinsgeländen sind.
