Effective cleaning agent and solvent for degreasing surfaces and for thinning/dissolving resins. Acetone is colorless, low viscosity and highly flammable. It is miscible in any ratio with water and most organic solvents.

Caution:
Do not use acetone to clean hands because of its strong degreasing effect. Use special hand cleaners.
