Universally applicable external solvent-based mold release agent with short drying time..
  • Application temperature up to 140 °C
  • Solvent based
  • Universally applicable
  • Semi-permanent: multiple demoldings per application possible
  • High sliding effect at high mold temperatures
  • Silicone-free formulation
  • Short flash-off time
  • Saves time-consuming waxing and polishing cycles

The use of this product eliminates the need for constant waxing and polishing. A single application allows multiple demoldings after a certain start-up time, during which the mold must first be prepared more often.

The release spray forms a monomolecular film that adheres to the mold surface and shows no affinity to the molded part. The film does not peel and brings significant advances to the plastics sector due to its good release action.

The release spray is silicone-free and is suitable for processing thermoset resins, polyester (hot and cold forming), epoxy resins and phenolic resins. Especially when working with higher temperatures, impeccable results can be achieved.

Processing:
Before the first application of Semiperm® Monofilm Release Agent, the molds must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt and release agent residues. Application can be by spraying, wiping or brushing. Before starting production, care should be taken to ensure that the film is absolutely dry. Semiperm® monofilm release agent should be stirred or shaken before use.

Consumption:
25-30 g/m²

Please note:
When processing prepregs, preliminary tests are recommended, as there is a risk of mechanical damage to the release agent due to the often very high pressing pressure. Demolding can thus be made more difficult or even prevented. The same applies to pressed parts (mold/countermold) when working with high pressure.
