Build your BEGIN' AIR
as a glider or electric model from the start. The wood kit contains all the wooden parts (balsa and plywood) needed for the construction. These have been CNC laser-cut
and have an excellent fit accuracy (manufacturing tolerance of the parts within 0.01mm).
The BEGIN' AIR
was developed to allow a quick and easy assembly.
The model can be built up in four different versions
, directly from the building block:
- as a pure sailplane (elevator and rudder),
- as a glider (height, lateral and aileron),
- as an electric glider (elevator, rudder and motor) or .
- as an electric glider (height, side, aileron and motor)
If you want to be a pure glider pilot, RC components in standard size will find sufficient space in the fuselage. If you equip your BEGIN' ACRO with an electric motor, we recommend that you use microservos and a small receiver.
The design ensures a light but robust hull. The glider is easy to fly
and can be controlled even in strong winds.
The removable wings - consisting of two parts - allow the model to fit easily into a backpack or the boot of a small car.
Low weight, low wing loading, low inertia and enable steep manoeuvres
and forgive the model for many a wild manoeuvre. In this way, even riskier figures can be tried out. This model allows you to improve your pilot skills quickly and safely.
It is also possible and advisable to install landing flaps to the ailerons (landing flaps with one micro servo per aileron) to slow down the landing of the glider.
With a suitable electric propulsion, it is possible to climb up to 100m in about 10 seconds. The glider version can be started easily with a bungee or a winch. With the BEGIN' ACRO a slope flight is a pleasure and fun!
