• Description

The Tamiya model is a true to scale 1/16 scale replica of the Leopard 2A6 main battle tank, which performs all driving movements such as forward and reverse movements and turning on the spot. In order to realize the stepless steering of the original tank, a completely new transmission was developed, which works with a 540 engine for the drive and one for the steering. In addition, a new single link chain with separate chain cushions was developed. The digital sound module generates all the driving and engine noises, the sound of the gun and turret engines as well as the cannon's launch bang (switchable to the sound of the coaxial machine gun). The turret is equipped with a real turntable and reproduces the fast turning motions true to the original. Just like the model, the turret is lifted automatically when turning over the rear of the tank. When the firing is activated, a flash of light is generated in the tube muzzle, the tube returns, the model "twitches" by briefly activating the speed controller and the gun runs for a few seconds in the loading position. To facilitate battery replacement, it is located in the tower and therefore easily accessible. The complete vehicle lighting was reproduced true to detail.
