The DigiSwitch is used wherever mechanical switches and heavy batteries cannot be accommodated. In combination with modern LiPo or LiFePo battery technology, the DigiSwitch not only saves weight, but also provides additional safety through the built-in voltage monitoring and vibration resistance through the fail-safe electronic switch.
The switch-on and switch-off process is carried out by pressing the button twice. The microcontroller monitors the sequence and switches the electronic switch on or off when the switching process is valid. This prevents inadvertent switching and achieves a connection that is resistant to vibrations. The self-holding switch stores the last switching state. This means that even in the event of short interruptions on the part of the battery, the switch always remains switched on.
Another safety feature is the built-in voltage monitoring. The 3-colour LED signals the battery charge status in three stages. The voltage monitoring can be set for all common battery types: 2s LiPo, 2s LiFePo and 5s NiMH.
The DigiSwitch reduces the input voltage to 5.9V (optionally 5.3V) and adjusts the voltage for regular 6V servos.
Two different plug-in systems are available on the battery side: Uni- or MPX connector. The MPX variant is delivered with two lines to the receiver as standard.
