OS MAX AX two-stroke engines are the latest series of powerful propulsion units designed mainly for sports and aerobatics models. The thoroughly worked construction has a unique ABL insert (Advanced Bimetallic Liner) With a two-layer surface treatment made of specially developed alloys to minimize friction and wear during operation and ensures high performance and long service life. The futuristic hexagonal cylinder head with large cooling fins provides excellent cooling and allows higher performance in the same dimensions as the classic FX series. OS MAX 65 AX is a powerful two-stroke engine with a crankshaft mounted with a pair of ball bearings suitable for all types of sports and competition aerobatics models. It is equipped with a 61D double needle carburettor, the main needle of which is oriented diagonally to the rear for safe adjustment while the engine is running. The basic set also includes a very efficient expansion damper of type E-4050 (Power Box). The direction of the exhaust opening can be changed by turning the rear of the damper 360 degrees.
