The pterosaur Exceloctylus lived about 140 - 200 million years ago in the Lower Cretaceous to Lower Jurassic. It is the origin of Simprop's Excel family known today. At the time of Dinosaurs the V-tail characteristic of the Excel models was still open downwards. Only in the course of evolution did the opening upwards known today develop. Important fossil finds in Harsewinkel once led to the creation of the famous Excel models.
The model offered here made of robust EPP light foam is about twice as large as the historical model. The precisely fitting parts allow the model to be completed quickly. The elaborate painting of the EPP foam is particularly worth seeing.
