This Seagull Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat "NAVY" fits seamlessly into Seagull's series of medium-sized warbirds and has all the usual design features that are already used in other Seagull models. In addition to the usual balsa/plywood construction, this F8F is designed for the latest generation of electric retractable landing gear. This enables a much more reliable undercarriage solution in series production than was the case with pneumatic undercarriages, for example.
This Seagull Bearcat has a balanced flight performance and will not pose any major challenges for the moderately experienced model pilot.
Assembly is quick, as is usual with Seagull, thanks to the high level of prefabrication.
