Description "VQ Models Tiger Moth (Royal Navy) / 1400 mm"
The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth is a single-engine biplane trainer that first flew in 1931. Designed by Geoffrey de Havilland, the Tiger Moth was used as a training aircraft by the British Royal Air Force. Towards the end of the deployment period around 1950, many DH.82 aircraft were used as civilian aircraft, many of which still fly to veteran meetings. The model has been lovingly modeled on the original and has very good-natured flight characteristics. Our Tiger Moth was developed from the ground up for electric drives. The large, removable cockpit allows easy battery changes and maintenance. Due to its compact size, the model can be transported assembled in most cars without dismantling the wings.
