The wide bonnet provides a slight braking effect for downhill figures today as it did back in aerobatics and thus for a smooth and even flight image.

The Charly ARF flies very well with a 3-cell LiPo battery (capacity 3500-4500mAh recommended) through all aerobatic figures. Particularly performance-hungry pilots can also use a 4-cell LiPo battery (14.8V) on request. The Charly ARF is then overpowered and rises vertically at about half throttle.
