RV-8 has an extremely robust, yet lightweight airframe that offers an incredibly wide range of flight. From near beginner to expert, the RV-8 has something for everyone. Beautiful, prototypical details, a clear canopy with cockpit and pilot, and a beautiful, modern color design provide a scale presence in the air and on the ground. The RV-8 can fly long-range as well as dynamic aerobatic maneuvers. The high level of prefabrication allow for rapid operation of the model. Both wings and tailplane are removable for ease of transport. In addition to combustion engines, modern electric drives can also be used.
