Super-fine spray primer - the first step towards perfect painting. High covering and holding power without locking the model details. Slight scratches and unevenness are evened out by the primer/primer. It is available in different container sizes (100ml/180ml) and colours.
The primers are suitable for the following surfaces/materials: plastic (ABS, polystyrene (PS)), metal (steel, aluminium, die-cast (zinc die-casting)), wood, ceramics.
The primed surface can also be wet sanded or sanded before applying the paint. We recommend the use of TAMIYA sandpaper and abrasive sponges, which can be used dry and wet and are available in grit sizes from 320 to 3,200.
TIPP:
Basic principles for the selection of primers: White primers are excellent for light lacquer/colour applications and light grey or grey primer for dark lacquer/colour applications.
When painting red tones (e. g. TS-8 Italian Red) to prepare the model with the primer "Pink" (300087146), this makes the following red shine stronger and with more depth effect on the model.
If you would like to age, weather or provide the model with signs of wear and tear, it is recommended to use the Oxide Red Primer (300087160). If you scrape off and/or scratch the paint applied afterwards, the effect of rust or fallen off pieces of paint will be revealed.
