The new Dragonflite 95 is the next logical step in offering a high performance competition yacht at a fraction of the price of normal yachts in the 1 metre class.
The concept of this yacht is unique from almost every angle. The slim and unusually narrow hull cuts through the water with minimal resistance.
The Fin is made of extremely stiff carbon fibre to create the right balance between low resistance and high strength. The entire rigging with sails on the deck was optimized by careful tests of both the sail area and the form.
The sails are made of hard-wearing mylar and have all the necessary reinforcements. The unusual angled shape of the main boom was chosen to avoid contact with the water in extremely sloping positions.
