The CR3.4eco crawler in the Bronco style is interesting for all those who are looking for purist crawling or want to get into this fascinating hobby on a low budget.
This vehicle is a "downgrade" of our original "CR3.4 RTR chassis which is probably one of the best on the market and has been since 2020!
The quality of the built-in parts is of course the same as his fully equipped brothers. The mounting points for optional equipment such as the differential locks or 2-speed transmission would also theoretically be available.
As standard, the vehicle comes with a 550 32T brushed high torque motor and a HobbyWing 40A speed controller. By "Jumper" on the speed controller you can determine whether the vehicle is equipped with a 7.2V NiMH battery or with a 2S or a 2S. 3S (low profile) LiPo battery is powered!
Portal axes not only offer a greater distance from the differential housing to the ground than conventional axes, they also have another positive feature. With conventional crawlers, the torque applies so much force that the vehicle jumps over the obstacle. The design of the portal axles reduces the gear ratio on the wheels and virtually eliminates the torque shocks of the drive. The total reduction ratio of the axle transmission is more than twice as high as in non-gantry versions to ensure smooth running.
The steering shock absorber absorbs most of the hard impacts so that the 9kg MG steering servo and the servo arm are spared. Drive shafts made of hardened steel and a steering angle of 45.8° offer the best possibilities for any terrain. In addition, the 2.2" tires which not only looks chic, but also has extremely much grip due to the super soft tires.
Our CR4S-V2 remote control system with 2.4GHz and 4 channels completes the overall package.
