Strong, Stronger, XL-Line ... upgraded again!
The BigHammer 5.1 is based on the proven 1:10XL 5 models, but has received some additional parts and changes. The model is now equipped with a centre differential. This distributes the power perfectly between the two axles. An aluminium support of the front axle section provides more stiffness of the chassis. The new 570 motor in combination with a 7.2 volt NiMH battery provides the necessary power for fast off-road driving with top speeds of up to 40 km/h. The chassis has been adapted to the TW-1. The chassis has been adapted to the TW-1 and Bruggy models and now has a wide wheelbase. This reduces tipping when cornering. The new, stylish body rounds off the look of the model. The electronics have also been improved. The new, water-protected DF-1060 brushed controller with 60 amps of power has been installed. The DF-1000D 10 KG digital steering servo with XXL metal gearbox provides sufficient steering power in every situation. A dual-rate function for the throttle is now possible using the new RACE X3 3-channel remote control. You can select 100, 75 or 50 % maximum power at full throttle with a switch. Metal chassis, XL oil-pressure shock absorbers with aluminium parts, aluminium steering levers, CVD cardans and ball bearings remain standard features of the 1:10XL models in version 5.1.
