The X-Maxx is HUGE in every way!
It is the biggest monster truck of Traxxas and is great fun.
Its massive tires promise enormous grip on any terrain, the oil-filled aluminum shock absorbers do the rest to move the X-Maxx ideally on any surface. Despite the large spring travel, the turning circle is small.
The fully ball-bearing cardan wheel drive ensures insane acceleration. Whether in the meadow, in the dust or on asphalt it reaches up to 55km/h.
The brand new engine mount fixes the distance of the engine to the main gear even under the most brutal conditions. Fixing pins ensure optimum sprocket play and avoid complicated adjustments.
The X-Maxx has the first Traxxas "one-click" body mount without cotter pin. The body can be easily attached to the vehicle with a rotary lever.
A new servo with a metal cooling body has been developed that can withstand the monstrous conditions and is perfectly matched to the huge tires and suspensions.
The unique Traxxas slipper clutch, which is cooled by two fans, absorbs power from the drivetrain and balances high torque, so you never lose control of your X-Maxx.
Due to the modular chassis design of Traxxas, the complete front and rear axle can be removed and mounted in one from the chassis.
A new update 2024 makes the X-Maxx even stronger and faster. New Sledgehammer tires with internal reinforcements and additional transmission options offer even higher speeds and performance.

TSM -Traxxas Stability Management
This innovative steering aid facilitates control of the vehicle on slippery and uneven roads and corrects the line. The multifunction button of the TQi remote control can be used to infinitely adjust how strongly the TSM intervenes in the driving behavior, whereby not the throttle position but only the steering movement is influenced.
Self-assessment system
If the vehicle lands on the roof and remains lying, you do not have to set it up again, but only press a button on the remote control. The X-Maxx now straightens itself by pushing the throttle and steering movements, and as soon as it is back on the wheels, the driving pleasure can continue.
Velineon Brushless System
Consisting of the Big Block 1275XL Kv brushless motor and the VXL-8s controller, the components are powerful and waterproof. With Velineon you have the largest selection of compatible batteries, through which your vehicle reaches top speeds of up to 80km/h.
The motor is protected from overheating by an aluminum heat sink and a temperature sensor that switches off if necessary.
The controller is optimally matched to the motor and has three driving profiles. Operation is straightforward and is done via a single button. It is waterproof and has a two-way undervoltage protection with automatic shutdown.
TQi 2 channel remote control
With the advanced ready-to-race remote control, you don’t have to set any channels or frequencies. The ergonomic design is very appealing due to the integrated and therefore protected antenna.
The automatic model selection recognizes up to 30 models without having to save them first. As soon as you turn on the transmitter, the model and the corresponding settings are loaded.
Steering and gas end point can be precisely adjusted. The multifunction button can be used to regulate the TSM, to adjust the steering sensitivity (Expo), gas sensitivity (Expo), steering in percent (Dual Rate), braking power in percent (Dual Rate) or gas.

The separately available wireless module turns your Android, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch into a tuning tool for your Traxxas model.
