Epoxy casting resin EXTRA 600 is a special system with long pot life and low exotherm.

• Free from phenol, alkylphenol and benzyl alcohol.

100 : 42 parts by weight resin : hardener

Processing:
The processing and curing time depend greatly on the volume applied and the environmental conditions. Therefore, we can not give values also because of the large number of variables (e.g. volumes, geometries, etc.). However, from our point of view, the processing time is sufficiently long to allow even larger potting. Due to the reduced reactivity, the curing time is prolonged and certainly amounts to several days.

An important role in mixing the components is played by the tool used for stirring; it should generate as little air entrainment as possible. When mixing, make sure that as little air as possible enters the mixture. Note: the resin component already contains an additive that promotes deaeration.

We recommend covering the casting to prevent dust entry (the surface of the potting must not be touched). If necessary, the curing process can be accelerated by applying a slight amount of heat after leaving it to rest overnight.
