Ungenaue Schwerpunkteinstellung (z.B. mit Fingerspitzen) führt zu unzähligen Testflügen oder im Extremfall sofort zum Absturz. Die Schwerpunktwaage ist für Modelle von 100 g bis 10 kg Gewicht ausgelegt. Der Messbereich liegt zwischen 30 und 150 mm, das dürfte für alle gängigen Modelle reichen.
